Pick of the Pack September 16th - Just you by Jeanet

I just love this gorgeous layout by Jeanet - I love the overlapping papers which and how shes used the wingsunder the photos - with the curve of the paper flourish leading the eye right into those sweet photos - Im surely going to be scraplifting this one

Xander is reaching an age where he doesn't want to pose for the camera any longer, luckily I've got a good zoom. I came home from our vacation last week with a couple of good photos of the little guy and although I was supposed to do a million other things right now - I had to scrap them.

& Silvery Blonde by Lauren Bavin. I thought the silver and sepia worked really well together and I'm absolutely in love with that distressed silver background - it is so beautiful and yet so neutral that I can easily imagine using it over and over again.

Pick of the Pack - September 12 Just You by Sandygb

I just love this gorgeous layout by Sandygb- I love the combination of how shes focused on the photo by using a mask and  the frame and the unique way she has used the wings - beautiful and very scrapliftable too - I shall be copying this one for sure

Bob hates when I take his photo, but I got a few last week in the mountains.

I used the quick bit clipping mask on the photo and also painted a bit of cream color under the wordart to make it stand out a bit more against the darker background.

This is an irresistible collection! With soft fresh colours and pretty flowers it has the delicate charm of and english countryside.

This is my son with my sisters when they came to visit this summer. I cropped the white bark background to look hand-cut then masked it to show a hint of blue in the center. I used a brush to ink the edges.

This is a photo I took of Vallie's daughter walking in the Botanical Gardens, Sydney with my son. There was an instant attraction between them, but I could hardly expect Sarah to wait for my son to come of age LOL.
