Theres something special about antique haberdashery items that really look good in heritage kits- making the layouts great for fashion layouts and many other themes.
This round of Featuring you challenged you to use Antique Couture
Here are the layouts produced for this challenge
Dawn-in-nz had a go at hand tinting this gorgeous wedding photo and what a spectacular result
Carla created a lovely layout for an older photo that features some lovely clustering
What a perfect photo Smikeel chose with this layout featuring Thelma with such a wonderful pose.
Furbabiesrus aged a more modern photo and created a wonderful layout of it with this layout
What a fantastic photo Sandygb scrapped here of her ancestor showing off the latest swimming costume of the 1920s – more wonderful clustering and lovely lines makes for a great layout
You really wouldnt realise this dress was not from today – what a fashionable woman Ermina must have been . This layout is by VWortman
I love the grid style design of this layout by Moog25 and what a great idea to scrapbook the schools of an area your ancestors came from
Happybeingamom created a great example of a layout with no photos – wonderful journalling about an ancestor who was a clothing designer. I really like the photos peeking out behind the cut out paper
And finally how much more perfect a theme for a layout with this kit than to photograph an antique sewing machine in this layout by Webfrau. – what wonderful journalling and a wonderful treasure to own.
Why not join in the next round of Featuring You which is to use the kit Portraits of the Past
This challenge will run till September 28 and for every 10 layouts posted I will give away a free product to the value of 4.99 to a randomly drawn winner
