Speedscrap - November 17

Here is my speedscrap layout for today


This one took me 26 minutes tho I do admit to changing the photo to one with Margie and Allen in to give better perspective of the height of the trees ( after the 26 minutes)

The word art which is from the perfect set for these photos is Tinas Nature walk word art
I used my Bird Song Value Collection for this layout.

I thought I would include another couple of layouts from others who participate in speedscrap so you could see the variety of layouts that come from one piece of inspiration.

journaling reads: The Consiergerie was built in the early 14th century and is the oldest surviving mediaeval hall in Europe. Much of the original architecture still exists with minimal renovation. It is located on Ile de la Cite and was built by in the early 1300s. It was the residence of Kings at one time, but was also rented out to shopkeepers during its history. In 1391, the Conciergerie became the first prison of Paris when this residence accommodated the seat of the Parliament and the judicial power. During the French Revolution, nearly 3,000 condemned spent their last days here. They were then transported to Concorde Square to be guillotined. Amongst them were Marie-Antoinette, the Austrian and wife of Louis XVI who spent 76 days there. We saw the Prisoners' Gallery, where the cells have been recreated. The windows of this gallery overlooks onto the Women's Square, where the prisoners would walk and wash their clothes, trying to keep up appearances even in prison. The dungeon of Marie-Antoinette was reconstituted and her original cell was transformed into a chapel, according to the wish of Louis XVIII.
