  5. hat a wonderful new technique to try. I learn way more tips this way than any other. Learning them one at a time is not overwhelming, and I've started printing each PDF file so I can put them into a notebook of tips. Thanks Lauren!!!!

  6. I don't get it! How do you duplicate a layer using the transform tool?If I go to "edit" and then transform, I don't have a choice of duplicate layer. When I duplicate a layer, I go to "Layer" then to duplicate layer. Then when I try to do control alt t, nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?

  7. Sorry the instructions could have been clearer and they are now - Insert a full stop or a comman after Duplicate a layer . Then it should make sense - Duplicate the layer THEN use the transform tool

  8. OK! It is working better! But it is still not spacing them out for me!I end up with a triangle! And if I hit "T" they just end up going in the same three spots! I do fine with rotating it and downsizing it a little bit. That works! But as far as evenly spaced.....Must go try it again! It must be because of my Mac! Is there a page in the manual that tells how to do this, Lauren?

  9. Hi Lauren,
I know this is a tut from a few years ago, and probably therefore an earlier version of Photoshop than CS5, but does this technique still work? or has the technique and ability been removed or changed?
I've tried and tried and tried and I can't get this technique to work at all.
    Any ideas?
    Many thanks.
