Feature Friday - Time and Again

This year for Feature Friday I am going to feature the kit which was the bonus giveaway for Gimme More for the week before.
Last weeks bonus was Time  and Again

As you can see this is quite a masculine looking Heritage kit but it works very well for nature/landscape layouts too.
I have completed two layouts using the kit .

This is yet another photo I took at Bodie, when I was there in July - for this one I used the black and white adjustment layer in photoshop, with a slight sepia tint- but I put the adjustment layer in darker colour blend mode which gave it a completely different look.
Then I used the overlay layer from my blended memories overlay stack - which I used the hue saturation lightness adjustment on and dragged the lightness right down to as dark as i could - I put that over the top of the photo and put that in Colour Burn blend mode.

I dont know if Shell Oil had the same catch phrase over there that they did here but it was Go well Go Shell , and thats the phrase that really came to mind when I saw this gas station at Bodie in California - with the Shell Oil signs still there - this truck certainly isnt going anywhere fast!!

I created a split tone effect in Camera Raw and then overlayed it with a grungy overlay to achieve the aged look for the photo.

This incredible layout by JenniferG shows that this kit isnt just a masculine kit

I love the effect that she has achieved with the photo by using the Blended Memories Overlay Stack  , and she also used the Rusty Tole Alpha which was a chat freebie yesterday and should be in the store soon. All in All its a wonderful layout and tells a great story as well

This very heartfelt layout by FormbyGirl has such wonderful journalling and the blending of the photo really works in so well with the tone of the layout  - It is a very eye catching  layout design - simple and yet terribly effective.

I hope these layouts inspire you and help you use Time and Again to showcase your own memories
