Pick of the Pack - March 27th

I adore this soft and elegant layout by Terryl. It style reflects the emotions she imparts in the journalling so well
Just beautiful and another layout I may have to scraplift!!

Here are Terryl's  notes on this layout
Lauren’s Pretty in Peach Value Collection is just SO pretty! I love the soft peaches and fresh greens, accented with a touch of gold and just had to have it! I decided to combine Lauren’s challenge with a couple of others—the song in the lyric challenge really rang true for me this month, and I thought I’d play with Billy Argel’s fonts as well for Robyn’s Graphically Challenged challenge. The layout turned out to be too soft to be able to use his more grungy fonts so I didn’t do a lot of playing with the fonts after all, and since the challenge rules state you can ONLY use Argel’s fonts I won’t be able to use this layout for the challenge after all, but his New Garden font was perfect for my title, especially the little heart Billy includes.

This photo is of the home we lived in while we were in Brisbane, Australia. It is an old Queenslander style home that was one of the first in the area, full of quirks and charm, and a favorite resting place for the cockatoos that would fly down from Mount Coottha. This particular verse of the song Photograph really gave voice to my feelings about having to move away:

I miss that town, I miss the faces
You can’t erase, you can’t replace it
I miss it now, I can’t believe it
So hard to stay, too hard to leave it.

I'm so glad you like my layout! I really miss living in your part of the world Lauren, and I'm grateful that your lovely kit allowed me to scrap that emotion. Thank you for picking me as pick of the pack!
