I have 2 fantastic layouts to show you today and Im sure both will inspire you greatly.

Both layouts are by DSP member Teetopper.

Is this not just a perfect kit/photo match??- and how perfect is the colouring of the photos.
Tane shows why she’s a member of the DSP Digital Elite Team with this layout.

Here are her notes on this layout

This is another page of photos that I took during our Prairiesta celebration.

The second layout uses this weeks featured kit American Holiday

Great Blending – great recolouring and wonderful use of the kit – and here are her notes on this layout

Every 10 years our little town holds a celebration of existence. Everyone dresses as they did in 1861, and there are reenactments, displays, and lots of lessons on the way things were back then. One of the biggest highlights is the parade.
This photo was taken of the Buffalo Soldiers Association. I aged the photo to try to make it more the way it would have been back then.
Journaling:
The Buffalo Soldiers were soldiers of the 9th and 10th Cavalry Divisions of the U.S. Army. These divisions were in service from 1866 through 1944..
The Buffalo Soldiers nickname was given out of respect for their fierce fighting ability by the Cheyenne warriors. The black soldiers helped to bring law and order to the plains by subduing outlaws. These famous soldiers patrolled the plains of Kansas in the 1870’s.
