The art of the Scraplift– Gimme a Copy challenge

Its time for another Scraplifting feature, where I choose a layout I particularly like and put out a call for scraplifts – This is the time we celebrate copying !!

The layout I chose this time was by DSP DET member Teetopper

I love that this is such a stylish design and allowed room for lots of journalling and with Tanes permission I created a template  using her design

There were some great scraplifts made using Tanes design as you can see below. I hope they give you ideas and inspiration for your own layouts

720° VIEW by Lauren Bavin

This is part of the stunning view from the top of the hill at Natures Wonders which is a farm but also a wildlife reserve on the Otago Peninsula South Island NZ -
Journalling reads At Natures Wonders on the Taiaroa Head at the tip of the Otago Peninsula they call this view at the top of the hill a 720° view , because you cant help but turn around twice, its so beautiful. With the Pacific Harbor edged by the Catlins Coast on one side, and the serene stillness of the Otago Harbour on the other it certainly is breathtaking.
I used my Two Tucked in QUick click ( soon to be in the store for this layout

This LO is for two of Lauren's wonderful challenges, featuring you and Gimme A Copy.
The featuring you kit Lightly Blue Page Kit which was perfect for a delicious baby boy (who has turned into a destroying machine )
Gimme a copy is a fantastic LO by Teetopper (all her LO's are great) Patriot Guard.
Lauren has made a quicklick from this LO called Two Tucked In Quick Click Template by Lauren Bavin. One of the wonderful things about quick clicks is the ability to modify them and to be able to get many great looks from them. In this LO I rotated the center part of QC to be on an angle instead of in the center vertically.
For a final touch on this LO I used Blenders - Floral by Lauren Bavin. I used different blend modes on the Floral Blenders

Well if anyone can scraplift a QC page it's me haha!

Takahe by Lauren Bavin

This is the takahe - a highly endangered bird- of which there are fewer than 200 left in the world .
I used my Takahe Page kit for this layout and my Two Tucked in QUick click soon to be in the store
Journalling reads
The Takahe is a flightless bird indigenous to New Zealand and belonging to the rail family. It was thought to be extinct after the last four known specimens were taken in 1898., however in the late 1940s a small number were discovered near lake Te Anau in the south island. It is still a highly endangered species of bird with as few as 200 individual birds alive. Most of the birds are located on 4 predatore free offshore islands, one of which is Tiritiri Matangi which is were I took these photos.
The takahe has brown eyes, a scarlet red bill and shield massive, with red legs and feet. The plumage ranges from an iridescent dark blue head, neck and breast and peacock blue shoulders to olive green and blue back and wings. They do have wings despite being flightless. The juveniles have a black bill and black plumage. They form persistent, sometimes life-long, pairs and stray from their permanent territories only in winter in search of food usually returning to the same territories in the summer.Takahe pairs call back and forth to each other in duet in a very deep resonant 'kloomph', whilst their normal contact call by day or night is a very loud, weka-like 'cooet'.
