Gimme a Copy–the art of the scraplift

 

For this round of Gimme a Copy – my semi regular scraplifting challenge I chose this gorgeous layout by DSP Member mum2riley .

I love the negative space look with this slighly funky  layout which still really features the photo as the focal point of the layout. So often in the negative space style of layout the photos are lost in all that blankness – but not so in this gorgeous layout where the layered papers and the strong horizontal and vertical lines draw the eye in to the photo.

There were some wonderful scraplifts of this layout as you can see below – some of these I will be scraplifting myself, as did some of the members below who were inspired by some of the scraplifts to create their own scraplift of a scraplift.!! Love Celebrated - 50 years by Scrapping4him This portrait of my grandparents to celebrate their 50th anniversary is exactly how I see them in my memories of them. Gabriel by Fade2pink I used Lauren Bavin's Burst of Summer kit and Simply Stylish SVC to create this layout for Lauren's Gimme a Copy challenge, the inspiration is from Mum2Riley's i heart you layout:	2009 Family Portrait by Janetklm I really love quick clicks. Very easy to use and most often they are easy to rotate. I did that with this wonderful A Long Scalloped Strip Quick Click Template designed by Lauren Bavin. I found this family portrait (dd, sil and dgd on the right) on a cd and asked myself why I never used it in a page. When I opened it I noticed the very low resolution. Gave it a go anyway.
