Theres little thats prettier than natures cornflower blue is there? – This flower was in the garden of Kemp House ,(built in 1821-22 it was built by the Church Missionary Society as a Mission House . The garden here was first dug in 1820

The jellyfish here on Cheltenham Beach in Devonport was HUGE – about 15 inches across!!- but so pretty with its lace look pattern.

I called this Apple blossom but im not actually sure thats what it is – The tree was beside the Lake at Taupo and was blossoming profusely when I visited there. So elegant and pretty whatever the blossoms are.

I do b3elieve this flower is commonly called a Winter Rose ( Hellebore) even though its of the Renuncula family and not the rose family . Its very elegant though. This one was in the gardens at Larnach Castle, Otago  and definitely was blooming in July which is  mid winter here in New Zealand

Rocky Oysters. These are very common on NZ Beaches – I love the various shades of purple in the dried out shells.

Pavlova – Yummy sugary crispy on the outside and soft and marshmallowy and slightly gooey in the middle – nothing more yummy for dessert.

Todays photo is my dog Oscar when he was about 5 months old. ( he is now 10 months and is much more of a scruff!)

He is a Carnauzer which is a Cairn Terrier Schnauzer cross if you are interested.. He’s a little minx – quite cheeky and not easily trained!!!

I thought i would add a note about the photos too just in case you are interested. This Rooster is actually a jug by Fitz and Floyd – (I collect roosters in case you didn’t know) – This one is very clever – the rooster is actually made up from vegetables and fruit – the body is lettuce leaves and it also has whitloof  aubergine, tomatoes and peas.
