This layout is probably my favourite out of all that I created in 2005 which is interesting because there are no elements at all and the only "creation" is the word art which was created by Tina Chambers ( I bow to her skills in word art creation and will always leave it up to her!!!)
The photo itself was average but with a few clicks in picasa this artistic version was created. I think that is partially why its one of my favourites as it shows that you dont need to spend hundreds ( or thousands if you live in NZ) on expensive software to achieve wonderful results.

This layout is a favourite for almost the opposite reason to the top one . I was so proud of myself after creating the pinecone which took over 100 layers and hours of work . The second task was to create the twigs - they were much quicker to create and I was very happy with how they turned out. The third challenge was to create the 3 unique strips of torn corrugated card - this was a long arduous task but I am very happy with the result and this kit ( Cabin in the woods ) remains one of my favourite kits - I have since made an add on kit to accompany it which you can find in the DSP store here - http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1368
I also like it because I used my Custom Colour Chipboard Alphabets . I got the idea for them from Sharon Topliss aka shazzt- and I was really happy with how they turned out -Ive used them in so many layouts since !!
The chipboard alphas come in a a variety of styles -
