Laurens Digital Scrapping Adventures

You know I love making Jewellery - Digital jewellery that is -Ive been looking for a brooch just like this one that I made for this layout in real life - cant get just exactly what Im looking for though - what a pity this one isnt real!!!. Those of you who are more observant might recognise the patterns in these papers - I started with my Pacific Paradise papers and played with the colours and overlays layers in them and came up with these wonderful silky and tapestry looking fabric type backgrounds and just had to use them in a page kit. I started with the stitched tulips - although they dont really go with the jewellery and hardware in the rest of the layout I thought they gave a contrast of textures - from hard and sparkly to soft and puffy - just like in the photo with hannahs soft and light dress contrasting with the stones on the ground .As usual the best part of creating a layout for me is printing it and this just prints superbly. - I will make a kit out of this - Im going to call it Ruby Romance so look out for it in the DSP store
