Feature Friday - Caramel Kisses

This weeks featured kit is Caramel Kisses. This kit is slightly funky, perfect for a huge variety of layouts from autumn, nature to portraits and even valentine with is fun heart elements.
It features a cloud shaped journalling paper, funky fat long legged bird and a useful 4 photo frame

Ive created a couple of layouts using this kit myself.

The first one below uses a frame from Made for Memories Page Kit
and the titles are from my Custom Fill Funky Chip titles set

as you can see the colours in the kit work so well for Autumn colours.

The second layout I made using the kit is below

For this kit I recoloured the backrounds a bit by desaturating to fit in better with the green tones in the photos of the birds
I also increased the reds in the hearts to fit in with the flowers.
The frame is very useful for layouts where you wish to fit in several photos yet still keep the layout uncluttered.
( The title in this layout is made with my Red Felt Alphabet

Here is a selection of layouts created with the Caramel Kisses page kit that I hope will inspire you on different ways to use it.

This gorgeous layout by Fade2Pink shows how well black and white photos work with the warm caramel colours in the kit . I love the negative space look in a layout and this one works especially well.

I adore this layout by Sandygb
It really does show how well the colours go with Autumn foliage, but more than that it really highlights the beautiful photo while letting the kit pieces add some whimsy - Its very inspiring and I wish I had a similar photo so I could scraplift it.

Here is a great layout by Pinky7

the reds in the clothes is picked up really well by the red in the hearts and I love the contrast with the blues in the photos too

I really like the top border in this layout by Luvzkitties - Im certainly going to use that idea in future with this kit  - it works really well.

How could you not be enchanted by the gorgeous photos in this layout by Bocca

I like how she has erased the legs off the bird and popped it up in the branches made by the swirl

This gorgeous layout by Shazzt shows how versatile this layout can be - she chose it to scrap photos of her great great grandparents grave.

I love the contrast of the blues once again in this layout by Tesha Gibson - and the heart border stitched onto the bottom of the photo frames works perfectly for a whimsical look

I hope these layouts inspire you to create some great layouts of your own
