Printing your layouts - as layouts and beyond

I often think the best part about digital scrapbooking is printing my layouts. I still even after 9 years of scrapbooking digitally cant wait to see my layout roll off the printer.
I traditionally store my layouts in regular 8x8 scrapbook albums , but in more recent times Ive tried several different methods of displaying my layouts and my digital art.
Ive created canvases which Ive shown on my blog before - I really love them, and Ive created photo books. Ive used Shutterfly in the past but recently I was introduced to Artscow .
Artscow is a Hong Kong based company which offers a huge array of products on which you can display your layouts- from traditional photobooks , to t shirts to watches, pens, playing cards etc.
Their regular prices are good ( although in US$ making it a little more expensive for us here in NZ now that the exchange rate isnt so favourable, but they have frequent and regular discount offers by email and when you sign up you get a raft of discounts and offers of even free product where you only have to pay the ( quite reasonable) shipping costs.

This weekend I ordered a photo book - you can view it here but I believe you have to have Microsoft Silverlight installed to view it properly.
With the discounts I got a 20 page 8x8 book  for free. I included 3 extra pages so the total cost was $1.50 +postage bringing it to $9.49 total - even when converted to NZ$ that makes for a very cheap photo book.

I will be sure to let you know what I think of the quality and service once it arrives but based on the price its hard to see how you can go wrong signing up and giving them a go.

You will find the website at Artscow.com

  1. OK! I spent all day making my layouts 8 x 8 and trying to organize them! And I can't upload my layouts. How did you do it?

  2. Oh Suzie yes its not the easiest site to navigate is it - If you go to My account ( up the top of the page on the left) - then My album on the left hand side you will get to the part where you can upload your photos
If you are in the photo book builder part then on the right hand side you can see a link to create new album - you can click on that and it will take you to the upload area
