This weeks Featured Kit for Feature Friday is the Torn Away Overlay Stack
I have done a couple of layouts using this product. It makes for a very quick arty looking layout
Of course it lends itself perfectly to Heritage photos but this was actually a photo I took last year in Bodie CA which is a preserved ghost town.
The overlay really aged the photo wonderfully.
This layout below shows that it can equally be used for nature photos
I love the creativity of the members at DSP - iwuvpsp shows here that you dont need to use the kit in its standard format
I just love how she has angled the overlay over a dark background and blended the word art into the background as well - just gorgeous !!
Wardlw has used the overlay template here to create some torn layers in her layout - which is simply divine - love the cluster of flowers and foliage in the corner
and here in this layout below she has used some of the overlay layers to create this masterpiece
Similarly JenniferG has used just some layers to create an aged look to her layout below for which she used the Maraschino Chocolate Page kit
And look at this wonderful layout by Cheecheongfun- how could that face not draw you in!!??
