GIMME A COPY–THE ART OF THE SCRAPLIFT

The first round of Gimme a Copy for this year challenged DSP members to scraplift an elegant layout by Carla

 

Carla allowed me to create a quick click template to make scraplifting her design easier

I created a family history layout with a picture of my 3x G Grandmother  using Carlas design .

 

But the challenge produced layouts of many different themes and styles – its really interesting to see how people use  one design so differently.

This really special layout by Kiana is a great use of the basic  design with a completely different looking end result and is really pretty

This gorgeous layout by Smikeel was Layout of the day – and well deserved as its a great scraplift and uses the elements in the kit so beautifully

Vwortman altered the layout design slightly by moving the central areas ot the right  making for a really elegant page

SandyGB has given a totally different look to the layout design by having 3 different strips in the background papers – I really like this too
